Every Wednesday and Thursday, Cinq Codet joins forces with Alex Swing Events to offer you varied and quality jazz evenings, in the chic and cozy atmosphere of its Chiquette restaurant.Violinist-mandolinist, performer, composer, teacher, and entrepreneur, Antoine Beux (aka Tony Bird) was born in Paris in 1991. After beginning his first lessons at the age of five, he continued his classical studies and began to create and improvise his own melodies. His encounter with Gabriel Majou (aka Gabe Bird) allowed him to discover the music of Stéphane Grappelli, as well as African-American (jazz, blues, rock, funk) and non-European (Indian, Indonesian, African, etc.) music. Their friendship grew stronger, allowing them to compose together.He enrolled at Berklee College of Music and met new people, which allowed him to participate in several projects and create his second band, "2BIRDS BAND." Inspired by the repertoire of JUNGLES KEY, the ensemble quickly grew, performing in the Boston area. In 2016, 2BIRDS BAND toured Canada for concerts and workshops, and was later joined by other members of JUNGLES KEY for a tour of Japan.Antoine has met and performed with some of the biggest names in music who have supported and inspired him: Al Jarreau, Richard Bona, Roy Hargrove, Didier Lockwood, Christian Howes, Billy Contreras, Nobuo Uematsu, Maxim Vengerov, Tracy Silverman, and more.His infectious energy, his joy for playing, and his passion leave no one indifferent....

Tous les mercredis et jeudis, le Cinq Codet s'associe à Alex Swing Events pour vous proposer des soirées jazz variées et de qualité, dans l'ambiance chic et cosy de son restaurant Chiquette.Violoniste-mandoliniste, interprète, compositeur, professeur et entrepreneur, Antoine Beux (alias Tony Bird) est né à Paris en 1991. Après avoir commencé ses premières leçons à l'âge de cinq ans, il poursuit son étude classique et commence à créer et improviser ses propres mélodies. Sa rencontre avec Gabriel Majou (alias Gabe Bird) lui permet de découvrir la musique de Stéphane Grappelli, ainsi que les musiques afro-américaines (jazz, blues, rock, funk) et extra-européennes (indiennes, indonésiennes, africaines…). Leur amitié se renforce et leur permet de composer ensemble.Il entre au Berklee College of Music et fait des rencontres, ce qui lui permet de participer à plusieurs projets et de créer son deuxième groupe, « 2BIRDS BAND ». Inspiré par le répertoire de JUNGLES KEY, l'ensemble s'est rapidement développé en se produisant dans la région de Boston. En 2016, 2BIRDS BAND est parti en tournée au Canada pour des concerts et des ateliers, puis a été rejoint par d'autres membres de JUNGLES KEY pour une tournée au Japon.Antoine a rencontré et joué avec de grands noms de la musique qui l'ont soutenu et inspiré : Al Jarreau, Richard Bona, Roy Hargrove, Didier Lockwood, Christian Howes, Billy Contreras, Nobuo Uematsu, Maxim Vengerov, Tracy Silverman…Son énergie communicative, sa joie de jouer et sa fougue ne laissent personne indifférent...
