Bonjour mon Amour is Camille Bertault's fifth and new album which will be released in March 2023. The percussions are the tree of the project where worlds that are not used to being associated are intertwined: the song, jazz, improvisation, theatre, poetry, slam, and some electro textures. The texts are biting, raw, incisive, melancholic and funny and deal with very topical subjects: confinement, ecology, mistreatment in college, toxic romantic relationships, addiction to the screen... Camille's various influences are perceptible: Gainsbourg, Brigitte Fontaine, Horace Silver, Monk, André Minvielles, Bjork, Portishead, Ravel, Boris Vian, Fiona Apple, Tania Maria... even if this project confirms that Camille's universe is personal and unique, without ever losing the groove, trance, dance. Here, for the first time and exclusively, she brings together the musicians with whom she has been touring for several years: Minino Garay, Argentinian percussionist who notably toured for 20 years with Dee Dee Bridgewater. Fady Farah, virtuoso Lebanese pianist whom Camille met at the conservatory 10 years earlier. Christophe " Disco " Minck, on bass, multi-instrumentalist and composer of film music (Klapish in particular) and guest on a few songs, the excellent trumpet player Julien Alour....

Bonjour mon Amour est le cinquième et nouvel album de Camille Bertault qui verra le jour en mars 2023. Les percussions sont l’arbre du projet où s’entremêlent des mondes qui n’ont pas l’habitude d’être associés : la chanson, le jazz, l’improvisation, le théâtre, la poésie, le slam, et quelques textures éléctros. Les textes sont mordants, crus, incisifs, mélancoliques et drôles et portent des sujets très actuels : le confinement, l’écologie, la maltraitance au collège, la relation amoureuse toxique, l’addiction à l’écran… Les diverses influences de Camille sont perceptibles : Gainsbourg, Brigitte Fontaine, Horace Silver, Monk, André Minvielles, Bjork, Portishead, Ravel, Boris Vian, Fiona Apple, Tania Maria… même si ce projet confirme que l’univers de Camille est personnel et unique, sans jamais perdre le groove, la transe, la danse. Elle réunit ici pour la première fois et exclusivement, les musiciens avec qui elle tourne depuis plusieurs années : Minino Garay, percussionniste argentin qui a notamment tourné 20 ans avec Dee Dee Bridgewater. Fady Farah, pianiste libanais virtuose que Camille a rencontré au conservatoire 10 ans plus tôt.
