1st Set : Jeanne Michard Latin 5tet :Following three trips to Latin America, Cuba and New York, and encounters in various projects, Jeanne Michard decided to set up her own band and devise a repertoire in keeping with her primary influences: jazz, Latin and Afro-Cuban music.Her compositions blend traditional rhythms with the cadences and phrasing attributed to the bebop jazz of the 40s. She has teamed up with pianist Clément Simon, double bassist Maurizio Congiu and percussionists Natascha Rogers and Pedro Barrios for her first album, 'Songes transatlantiques', in which she revisits her travels through music, combining percussion with harmonies reminiscent of traditional jazz. 2nd Set : Jodie's Mood ProjectA fan of jazz clubs and jam sessions, Jeanne Michard quickly came into contact with the cream of the Paris jazz scene when she started out around 7 years ago. She ended up playing regularly with musicians from the Zoot Collectif and the Paris Jazz Sessions, among others. Surrounded by all these talented musicians, it was at this point that she felt the urge to write for a medium-sized band....

1er Set : Jeanne Michard Latin 5tet :C'est à la suite de trois voyages en Amérique Latine à Cuba et à New York ainsi que des rencontres faites dans différents projets que Jeanne Michard concrétise son envie de monter une formation à son nom et d'imaginer un répertoire en accord avec ses influences premières : le jazz et la musique latine et afro-cubaine.Elle propose des compositions mêlant les rythmiques traditionnelles aux cadences et au phrasé qu'on attribue au courant jazz bebop des années 40'. Elle s'entoure du pianiste Clément Simon, du contrebassiste Maurizio Congiu et des percussionnistes Natascha Rogers et Pedro Barrios pour un premier album, « Songes transatlantiques » à travers lequel elle revisite ses voyages en musique en faisant dialoguer les percussions avec des harmonies qui rappellent celles du jazz traditionnel. 2nd Set : Jodie's Mood ProjectAdepte des clubs de jazz et des jam sessions, Jeanne Michard rencontre rapidement la fine fleur du jazz parisien lors de ses premières sorties il y a environ 7ans. Elle finit par jouer régulièrement avec entre autres, les musiciens du Zoot Collectif et des Paris Jazz Sessions. Entourée de tous ces musiciens et musiciennes de talent, c'est à ce moment-là que lui vient l'envie d'écrire pour moyenne formation.
