At 42, the pianist Cédric Hanriot had the pleasure of working with some of the legends of jazz. He has appeared on 8 tracks from the album Beautiful Life by Grammy Award-winning singer Dianne Reeves in 2015. He has also collaborated with Terri Lyne Carrington, Donny McCaslin and Grégoire Maret. From sideman to leader, with projects of different sizes, he has been able to sharpen his style which incorporates acoustic elements (trio double bass-piano-drums) as well as electronic elements (vocoder, sound design) to make us travel in a repertoire ranging from pop arrangements (Nirvana and Michael Jackson) to French Song, incorporating original pieces. A 42 ans le pianiste Cédric Hanriot a eu le plaisir de travailler avec quelques unes des légendes du jazz. Il a participé sur 8 titres de l’album Beautiful Life de la chanteuse Dianne Reeves, album qui a remporté un Grammy Award en 2015. Il a aussi collaboré avec Terri Lyne Carrington, Donny McCaslin ou encore Grégoire Maret. De tournées en tournées, de sideman à leader, avec des projets à dimensions différentes il a pu affûter son style qui incorpore des éléments acoustiques (trio contrebasse-piano-batterie) ainsi que des éléments électroniques (vocoder, sound design) afin de nous faire voyager dans un répertoire allant d’arrangements de pop (Nirvana et Michael Jackson) à la Chanson Française, en incorporant des morceaux originaux.
