With her remarkable songwriting talent and breathtaking voice, Deva Mahal was born with the blues in her veins. It couldn't be any other way for this multi-instrumentalist, daughter of legendary bluesman Taj Mahal and niece of Carole Fredericks.From her early years in Hawaii to the discovery of her voice in New Zealand, it was from there that she became convinced that she wanted to be an artist.Deva Mahal has performed on stage alongside international legends such as Etta James, Björk, Ceelo Green, Patti Smith... and many others. She has also made a name for herself on TV, with a notable appearance on Quotidien (TF1) in 2018, or more recently as a special guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race (Netflix).Deva has spent the last few years in New Zealand furthering her craft as a composer and cultivating her skills as a producer alongside Chris Wethey. Il ne pouvait en être autrement pour cette multiinstrumentiste, fille du légendaire bluesman Taj Mahal et nièce de Carole Fredericks.De ses jeunes années à Hawaï à la découverte de sa voix en Nouvelle-Zélande, c'est de là qu'elle s'est confortée dans l'idée de devenir artiste.Deva Mahal s'est produite sur scène aux côtés de légendes internationales comme Etta James, Björk, Ceelo Green, Patti Smith… et beaucoup d'autres. Elle s'est également illustrée à la TV avec un passage remarqué à Quotidien (TF1) en 2018, ou plus récemment comme juge invité spécial sur l'émission RuPaul's Drag Race (Netflix).Deva a passé ces dernières années en Nouvelle-Zélande pour approfondir son métier de compositrice et cultiver ses compétences de productrice aux côtés de Chris Wethey.
