Every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., Chez Georges welcomes the Alex Swing Events collective, which offers a varied and quality program, following a repertoire of swing / gypsy jazz, the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, and many others!Chez Georges is a very pleasant wine bar on rue des canettes, with a magnificent vaulted cellar in the basement, transformed on Tuesday into a gypsy jazz clubStrongly influenced by the musical language of the Sinti, Django Reinhardt and the modern jazzmanouche scene, Elias Prinz found his own tone. Paired with selected pieces of valse musette andcontemporary elements, his playing is virtuous but always melodic and with a lot of sensitivity.Through friendships with german sinti musicians, he had the chance to dive deep in their music andtradition and could create his authentic, melodic and unique style that lights up the fire and beautyof jazz manouche.Together with rhythmguitarist Jean-Baptiste Delattre, and doublebassist Ida Koch, they present an acoustic trio program of original compositions, traditional songs and selected pieces by Django Reinhardt.The 23- year old guitarist was recently awarded with the first price of the german Kurt Maas JazzAward 2023.Regine Glöckner: "The 23 year old Guitar player arrived in the jazzscene with his compositionalsignature and his sinti music background. Tous les mardis de 20h à 23h, Chez Georges accueille le collectif Alex Swing Events qui propose une programmation variée et de qualité, suivant un répertoire de swing / jazz manouche, la musique de Django Reinhardt et Stéphane Grappelli, et de bien d'autres !Chez Georges, c'est un bar à vin très sympathique de la rue des canettes, avec au sous-sol une magnifique cave voûtée, transformée le mardi en cave... de jazz manouche Fortement influencé par le langage musical des Sinti, Django Reinhardt et le jazz modernescène manouche, Elias Prinz a trouvé son propre son. Accompagné de morceaux sélectionnés de valse musette et d'éléments contemporains, son jeu est virtuose mais toujours mélodique et avec beaucoup de sensibilité. Grâce à ses amitiés avec des musiciens sintis allemands, il a eu la chance de plonger profondément dans leur musique ettradition et a pu créer son style authentique, mélodique et unique qui allume le feu et la beauté du jazz manouche. Avec le guitariste rythmique Jean-Baptiste Delattre et la contrebassiste Ida Koch, ils présentent un programme en trio acoustique composé de compositions originales, de chants traditionnels et de pièces de Django Reinhardt. Le guitariste de 23 ans a récemment reçu le premier prix du festival allemand Kurt Maas Jazz, Prix 2023.Regine Glöckner : "Le guitariste de 23 ans est arrivé sur la scène du jazz avec ses compositions signature et son parcours musical sinti.
