Pianist Stéphane Tsapis is an early Monkian. He continues to explore the music of the high priest of bebop after making a weekly show devoted to Monk during the lockdown where he invited many musicians to his studio. This time it is on the Sunside stage that he invites two projects to mark the 40th anniversary of the composer's death. The second project is a female vocal trio with Lynn Adib, Camille Bertault and Monika Kabasele accompanied by Marc Buronfosse on double bass and Guilhem Flouzat on drums. The chance to hear Monk in different languages!

Le pianiste Stéphane Tsapis est un Monkien des premières heures. Il continue d’explorer la musique du grand prêtre du bebop après la réalisation d’une émission hebdomadaire consacrée à Monk durant le confinement où il invitait de nombreux musiciens dans son studio. Cette fois-ci c’est sur la scène du Sunside qu’il convie deux projets à l’occasion des 40 ans de la mort du compositeur. Le deuxième projet est un trio vocal féminin avec Lynn Adib, Camille Bertault et Monika Kabasele accompagnées par Marc Buronfosse à la contrebasse et Guilhem Flouzat à la batterie. L’occasion d’entendre Monk en différentes langues !
