Born from a common desire to play open music, without compromise, and that would not turn its back on a certain tradition of jazz, Flash Pig is a quartet created in 2008 that finds its inspiration both in the work and writing of the 1970s free scene (Keith Jarrett, Ornette Coleman, Paul Motian), as in the sound and spirit of some contemporary musicians. Awarded with many awards, the quartet has recorded three albums under its name to date and plays a repertoire of personal compositions, which allow the four musicians to offer an open jazz, uninhibited, and constantly evolving.
