Freddie cut his teeth as the lead singer of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and studied Jazz Singing at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His silvery fingered trumpet playing style and soft, velvety voice are uncannily reminiscent of the great Chet Baker, so it’s no surprise that he’s burst headfirst into the jazz spotlight. Freddie was born from an artistically theatrical family, joining a local church choir in South London as a child, which sent him on his way to becoming the ambitious, and talented performer you’ll see on stage. His vocal talents have seen him play at some of the most sought after and iconic venues all over the world, with the Carnegie Hall, Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House, Ronnie Scott’s, The Ritz and The Savoy to name but a few. Following a family tragedy during the COVID-19 pandemic, Freddie’s creative juices started flowing and he ended up writing original compositions to get through his time of grief. He is ecstatic to announce that he will be recording all of his original material in February of 2023 with his band. The music is a mixture of jazz and neo-soul. Accompanied by his first-rate trio, he’ll be performing a perfectly mixed cocktail of his original compositions, cool jazz standards, Brazilian sambas and his take on modern classics. ...

Son jeu de trompette aux doigts d'argent et sa voix douce et veloutée rappellent étrangement le grand Chet Baker, il n'est donc pas surprenant qu'il se soit retrouvé sous les feux de la rampe du jazz. Freddie est issu d'une famille d'artistes théâtraux. Enfant, il a rejoint la chorale d'une église locale du sud de Londres, ce qui l'a amené à devenir l'artiste ambitieux et talentueux que vous verrez sur scène. Ses talents vocaux l'ont amené à jouer dans certains des lieux les plus prisés et les plus emblématiques du monde entier, comme le Carnegie Hall, Glyndebourne, le Royal Opera House, le Ronnie Scott's, le Ritz et le Savoy.À la suite d'une tragédie familiale pendant la pandémie de COVID-19, la créativité de Freddie s'est mise à couler et il a fini par écrire des compositions originales pour surmonter sa période de deuil. Il est ravi d'annoncer qu'il va enregistrer toutes ses compositions originales en février 2023 avec son groupe. La musique est un mélange de jazz et de néo-soul. Accompagné de son trio de premier ordre, il interprétera un cocktail parfaitement dosé de ses compositions originales, de standards de jazz cool, de sambas brésiliennes et de sa version des classiques modernes.
