Il s’est imposé comme une figure de la scène parisienne et internationale.Sideman éclectique aux côtés de Julien Alour, Rick Margitza, Baptiste Herbin, Philippe Baden Powell, Denise King… Il est également leader de plusieurs projets tels que Big Fish, Dancing Bird ou encore King of Panda.Après "Imaginary Stories", un premier opus singulier réunissant un quatuor à cordes et un ensemble de jazz autour de la chanteuse Ellinoa, Gabriel revient à une formation plus resserrée : le quartet.Avec de nouvelles compositions comme "Fitness Club", "La Crampe" ou "Pluie Fixe", il continue de proposer des mélodies fortes, nourries d’un imaginaire à la fois onirique et cinématographique.Entouré de Pierre Bernier (saxophone), Simon Chivallon (piano) et Guilhem Flouzat (batterie), il trouve une alchimie rare : chacun transcende ce terrain de jeu par son sens aigu de l’improvisation.Pierre Bernier et Gabriel partagent depuis plusieurs années la scène et la route, aux côtés de musiciens comme Antoine Karacostas, Samuel Tessier, Sylvain Ransy ou Simon Martineau — ils rentrent d’ailleurs tout juste de leur quatrième tournée au Japon.Gabriel et Simon Chivallon se connaissent depuis plus de dix ans et ont arpenté ensemble les scènes parisiennes avec complicité.Quant à Guilhem Flouzat, de retour à Paris après plusieurs années à New York, il a rapidement trouvé avec Gabriel un équilibre musical évident : leur tandem contrebasse-batterie fonctionne à la perfection, dans un échange stimulant et ludique, comme une partie de ping-pong.La musique de ce quartet est un univers riche et sensible, à découvrir absolument.
