The duo Galen & Paul was born from a collaboration between Galen Ayers (Kevin Ayers' daughter) and Paul Simonon, bass player of The Clash and Gorillaz during the confinement. During this period of isolation in a fishing village in Mallorca, Paul began to write and compose and then presented his ideas to his friend Galen on his return to London, 18 months later. They then locked themselves in every night to put the finishing touches to 10 great songs.Their first album "Can We Do Tomorrow Another Day?" available on May 19, 2023, offers an unexpected atmosphere for ex-punk Paul Simonon who smashed his bass on stage. Le duo Galen & Paul est né d'une collaboration entre Galen Ayers (la fille de Kevin Ayers) et Paul Simonon, bassiste de The Clash et Gorillaz durant le confinement. Lors cette période d’isolement dans un village de pêcheurs à Majorque, Paul se met à écrire et composer puis présentera ses idées à son amie Galen à son retour à Londres, 18 mois plus tard.
