This November, VLA welcomes a great pianist on the French jazz scene, Grégory Privat, to perform his latest album, YONN. The solo pianist's intimate music combines West Indian culture, classical music and jazz. Yonn is ONE in Creole, a programmatic title, like a return to the roots. Made up entirely of original compositions, this album is infused with a subterranean energy that exudes all the essence of the Caribbean in a discreet, sensual way. En ce mois de novembre, VLA accueille un grand pianiste de la scène jazz française, Grégory Privat, qui viendra nous interpréter son dernier album, YONN. Le pianiste solo y propose une musique intimiste aux confins de la culture Antillaise, la musique classique et le Jazz. Yonn, c’est UN en créole, un titre programmatique, comme un retour aux sources. Constitué entièrement de compositions originales, cet album est traversé par une énergie souterraine et exhale toutes les essences des Caraïbes, de manière discrète et sensuelle.
