Crossroads of philosophy and jazz, Saint-Germain-des-Prés becomes the temple of renewal in the aftermath of the Second World War. In Tabou, the former name of Café Laurent, Anne-Marie Cazalis meets Boris Vian, Abadie, but also Gréco, Queneau, Mauriac, Sartre and many other zazous, during a party where jazz, existentialism and a certain joy of live reign as masters.

Today, Café Laurent , even though it has taken over its original name, continues this tradition intimately linked to the neighborhood's history. From monday to saturday evening, pianists, musical ensembles and singers succeed each other on the stage of our jazz bar ....

In this mythical place of Saint-Germain-des-Prés which, in 1947, remained open all night long, the jazz evenings always show their notes and their swing, no longer in the formerly crowded cellars, but in a living room with the atmosphere hushed.

The jazz concerts are scheduled 6 nights a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
