Hypermétrope is a trio with three colourful faces: Martin, improviser and guitarist; Elise, vocalist and poet; and JB, improviser and saxophonist. Together, they break down walls to create a show that is entirely improvised, with the help of the audience, who write the common thread of the concert/performance. All you have to do is look at your seat and write down a word, a mood or a memory on the paper there and place it in the hat at centre stage. Like a cauldron in which several ingredients are mixed, the magic is in the choice of words and different aesthetics such as folk, baroque music and chanson. The story unfolds before your very eyes, and all you have to do is take off your adult glasses and put on your child's, to enjoy the show as if it were a game, where you make up the rules and everyone is both the performer and the audience.Velours, velours - A kind of cabaretEvery Saturday afternoon, 38Riv transforms itself into a Havana piano bar, a hushed Harlem club or a forgotten Broadway stage.
