Le rêve d’un siècle de musiques : jazz, rock, soul ... et d’autres moins populaires mais tout aussi passionnantes : blues, folk, country, qui font le bonheur des curieux d’humanité, des chercheurs d’histoires singulières, des regardeurs d’horizon ... Adolescent, l’harmonica fût ma ligne directe avec l’Amérique, celle de tous les malentendus et de tous les possibles. À travers la musique, j’y ai découvert un monde d’injustices et de violence, de passion et de cultures multiformes. Mais surtout un monde de musique vivante tel que nous en avions perdu l’usage.
