Joabe is a trombonist, composer and producer, already considered one of the most important names on the national jazz scene. The trombonist performed at Rock in Rio and toured Europe for the first time in 2024. Also consolidating himself as an artist moving into the pop world, Joabe was invited to present his own show at The Town 2025 and returns to Europe with confirmed shows in major venues such as Ronnie Scott (London) and Jamboree (Barcelona). In 2025, Joabe was invited to take the stage at Lollapalooza as a guest of Shawn Mendes.He released his critically acclaimed debut album Crew in Church in 2020, featuring Toninho Horta, Nelson Ayres and New York trombonist Elliot Mason, a member of the Lincoln Center Orchestra led by trumpeter Wynton Marsalis. Joabe reveres jazz, strongly influenced by Hip-Hop, Neo Soul, Funk and Pop.Joabe has released Homem Pássaro with Paula Lima and I Just Wanna Breathe with Síntese. He was invited by Toninho Horta to perform a show in honor of Raul de Souza, and also by singer Macy Gray to accompany her on her tour of Brazil, with four sold-out shows at Blue Note SP and Rock in Rio.In 2024, he released 028, his second original album, a tribute to Cachoeiro de Itapemirim (ES), with contributions from Bob Mintzer, Gabriel Grossi and Mirella Costa.
