For this 2nd carte blanche concert, Joachim Govin has chosen to invite one of the most prominent alto saxophonists on the Paris scene.Plume spent several years in New York before settling in Paris for good. A saxophonist of powerful lyricism, timbre and relentless groove, he is one of the best of his generation. For the occasion, Joachim calls on two long-time rhythmic accomplices with whom he has built up a deep affinity, as well as a shared repertoire featuring personal compositions by the quartet members, compositions by pianist Tony Tixier, a close friend of the bassist, and great songs from the Brazilian repertoire (Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta...).Not to be missed: February 13, March 13 & April 17, 2025....

Pour ce 2ème concert de carte blanche, Joachim Govin a choisi d'inviter un des saxophonistes alto les plus en vue de la scène parisienne.Plume a passé plusieurs années à New York avant de s'installer à Paris plus durablement. Saxophoniste au lyrisme puissant, au timbre et au groove implacable, il fait partie des meilleurs de sa génération. Pour l'occasion, Joachim fait appel à deux complices rythmiques de longue date avec qui il a su construire de profondes affinités ainsi qu'un répertoire commun constitué de compositions personnelles des différents membres du quartet, de compositions du pianiste Tony Tixier, grand ami du bassiste, ainsi que de grandes chansons du répertoire brésilien (Milton Nascimento, Toninho Horta...).Un rendez-vous à ne pas manquer : les 13 février, 13 mars & 17 avril 2025.
