Light in the box emerges from the shadows, like a confined, contained and simmering idea, which frees itself, letting new contrasts, volumes and textures appear, bringing a modern and unexpected sound. Light in the box surgit de l’ombre, comme une idée confinée, contenue et mijotée, qui se libère, laissant apparaitre de nouveaux contrastes, volumes et textures, apportant une sonorité moderne et inattendue.  Cet album est l’assemblage d’adjectifs qui s’opposent : impulsivité refléchie, douceur nerveuse, éclat ombragé, et tout en étant très représentatif d’un jazz d’aujourd’hui, il amène à celui qui l’écoute un son personnel et non-emprunté.
