Très inspirée, la musique de Karim est ludique, organique et mouvante. À travers un répertoire de standards du jazz et des compositions originales, ce trio explore et expérimente !Karim Blal est un pianiste inventif et virtuose, italien d’origine et parisien de cœur. Inspiré par les plus grands pianistes de jazz, il s’est rapidement forgé sa propre personnalité tout en restant très attaché aux pianistes de la « grande tradition » et cela s’entend. Il y a d’ailleurs quelque chose de tout à fait essentiel dans sa musique. Déjà reconnu par les plus grands, et après avoir suivi l’enseignement de Barry Harris et Kenny Barron, Karim s’est produit aux côtés de Ari Hoenig, Hans Glawischnig, E.J. Strickland.
