Every Tuesday from 8 pm to 11 pm, Chez Georges hosts a diverse and high-quality program, ranging from gypsy swing to klezmer, Balkan folk music, and much more! Downstairs, a concert cellar welcomes you in an intimate and captivating atmosphere.La Verdine reunites to create the Transatlantique EP with Noé Clerc on accordion and Fabricio Nicolas-Garcia on double bass.The two composers RT Jouaville (violin) and Frank Soucy (guitar) paint sonic canvases influenced by neoclassical, gypsy jazz, modal music, free jazz, and electronic music.Transatlantic, because the group's composers come together between Quebec and France to develop their creative project, La Verdine. The Franco-Quebecois duo, RT Jouaville and Frank Soucy, compose original pieces drawing their influences from the musical heritage of their two continents. As in their first album, La Verdine unfolds with a lineup influenced by gypsy jazz, but this time with Noé Clerc on accordion and Fabricio Nicolas-Garcia on double bass.
