In 2022, after two years of absence, the European Big Band returns to the Bal Blomet. Trumpeter Rubinho Antunes will conduct the orchestra for an evening around Brazilian music.Between Sao Paolo and Paris, Rubinho Antunes puts his talent as a trumpeter, arranger and composer at the service of big names in Brazilian music such as Hermeto Pascoal, Gilberto Gil…. Throughout his career, he honors the Big Band formation while playing with the sounds and rhythms of traditional Brazilian music and musical trends that have passed through the ages.It's a real journey between Bossa-nova, samba, choro or even baião and jazz that will be on the program. En 2022, après deux ans d’absences, le Big Band européen fait son retour au Bal Blomet. Le trompettiste Rubinho Antunes sera à la direction de l’orchestre pour une soirée autour de la musique brésilienne.Entre Sao Paolo et Paris, Rubinho Antunes met son talent de trompettiste, arrangeur et compositeur au service de grands noms de la musique brésilienne tel qu’Hermeto Pascoal, Gilberto Gil…. A travers son parcours, il met à l’honneur la formation Big Band tout en jouant avec les sonorités et les rythmes de la musique traditionnelle brésilienne et des courants musicaux qui ont traversé les époques.C’est un véritable voyage entre Bossa-nova, samba, choro  ou encore baião et le jazz qui sera au programme. Un concert festif et dansant entre découverte et redécouverte de la musique et des rythmes entraînants du pays d’Amérique du Sud.Après une semaine de résidence au CMDL, Rubinho Antunes et les étudiants venus de toute l’Europe (Norvège, Belgique, Portugal, Allemagne ou encore de la France), vous feront découvrir ce concert inédit.
