Alto saxophonist Plume has made a name for himself on the international jazz scene with his lyrical and personal sound, expressive improvisation, and deeply interactive playing. His musical universe, both modern and rooted in the tradition of African-American jazz, reflects a rich journey between Boston, New York, and Paris.Trained at Berklee and the New England Conservatory, he developed his skills through contact with major figures in American jazz before collaborating with artists such as Mulgrew Miller, Roy Hargrove, Ambrose Akinmusire, Melody Gardot, and Joe Sanders. His albums Escaping the Dark Side (2019) and Holding On (2022) have been praised for their intensity and emotional depth.For this concert at the JASS Club, Plume will be accompanied by Leo Montana, Gabriel Sauzay, and Antoine Paganotti.
