Soblom réunit six jeunes musiciens du CNSM de Paris pour un jazz contemporain voyageur, mêlant fougue, mélancolie et influences venues des quatre coins du monde. Soblom, c’est six musicien·nes qui se sont trouvés au CNSM de Paris et qui ont décidé de se lancer dans une drôle d’aventure : faire du jazz contemporain qui voyage dans tous les sens.Dans leurs morceaux, on croise l’ambiance feutrée et rêveuse du jazz nordique (Lars Danielsson), l’énergie solaire du jazz israélien (Avishai Cohen, Shaï Maestro), les couleurs puissantes et atypiques du jazz arménien (Tigran Hamasyan)… et un petit parfum planant façon label ECM.Résultat : une musique qui aime bousculer les habitudes, parfois fougueuse, parfois carrément déroutante… et qui sait aussi se faire douce et mélancolique quand il faut. Bref, c’est du jazz qui vit, qui respire et qui n’a pas peur de sortir des sentiers battus.Au trombone basse, Tristan Boulanger envoie des graves chaleureux, Léo Morini fait chanter le sax ténor, Amaël Billard cisèle des lignes fines au sax soprano. Charles Thuillier tient la contrebasse comme un cœur battant, Bettina Martinez colore les morceaux au piano, et Andy Rostoll impulse la vie avec sa batterie inventive.
