Stephan Crump "Rhombal" at Sunset-Sunside

"Rhombal" features veteran explorer Ellery Eskelin on tenor saxophone engaging with brilliant young trumpeter Adam O’Farrill in the midst of the deep rhythm team chemistry Crump and Tyshawn Sorey have formed in collaboration for over a decade, primarily in Vijay Iyer Quartet and Trio. The group recently headed into the studio for the first time to record a body of work written by Crump’s late brother, Patrick : the album "Rhombal".
