Avec son nouvel album only love, violette chante l’amour sous toutes ses formes. Only Love est également pour Violette une façon d’affirmer sa signature musicale : une pop élégante, parfois joyeuse et légère avec « Mr Farfelu » et « Fille à Papa », parfois sérieuse, avec « Only Love Leads Us Home » et « Over And Over ». Les compositions cosmopolites de Violette lui ressemblent. Elles mêlent langues, cultures et expériences de France et d’ailleurs, empruntant tout autant à la Grosse Pomme qu’à la Douce France. Sensible, sa voix claire et légère se nuance parfois de tons graves aux teintes blues et soul. Le résultat est une pop jazz et élégante, où règne l’émotion.
