Après son dernier album « My Soul, My Sol » enregistré avec Carine Bonnefoy et Mathias Allamane, le batteur Franck Filosa s’est entouré des talentueux Franck Avitabile au piano, Maxime Jean-Louis au saxophone et Nicola Sabato à la contrebasse pour un hommage à la musique de Cedar Walton. Bercé par le jazz depuis l’enfance, Franck Filosa l’enseigne et le défend sur scène depuis plus de vingt ans. Son jeu s'inspire des plus grands... Les musicalités de John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Benny Golson ou encore Thelonious Monk s’expriment et vivent au travers de ses compositions. En 2013 nous quittait le célèbre pianiste et compositeur Cedar Walton.
