Long considered one of the best jazz artists in New Orleans, the legendary guitar master Steve Masakowski settles on the Baiser Salé stage for a unique evening! In duet with Ellis Marsalis but also by working with many artists such as Alvin "Red" Tyler, Nicholas Payton or Dianne Reeves, Steve has made an unforgettable name for himself and has been elected "Best Guitarist" twice and three times " Best Contemporary Jazz Band" by Gambit and Offbeat magazines.Having passed on his passion to his children, it was only natural for the guitarist to make it a family affair! His daughter, Sascha Masakowski, a splendid multi-style singer, internationally known for her work with New Orleans trumpeter Nicholas Payton. His son Martin Masakowski on double bass, who also leads a high-level international career. As well as his well-known longtime friend from the Baiser Salé, drummer Jeff Boudreaux, also from New Orleans and currently living in Paris. A prestigious artist, he finds his success through a wide variety of styles and creates common links between jazz, ragtime, hip-hop and rap. Longtemps considéré comme l’un des meilleurs artistes de jazz de la Nouvelle-Orléans, le légendaire maître de la guitare Steve Masakowski s’installe sur la scène du Baiser Salé pour une soirée unique ! En duo avec Ellis Marsalis mais également en travaillant avec de nombreux artistes tels que Alvin « Red » Tyler, Nicholas Payton ou encore Dianne Reeves, Steve a su se faire un nom inoubliable et a été élu deux fois "Meilleur guitariste" et trois fois "Meilleur groupe de jazz contemporain" par les magazines Gambit et Offbeat.Ayant transmis sa passion à ses enfants, il était tout naturel pour le guitariste d’en faire une affaire de famille ! Sa fille, Sascha Masakowski, splendide chanteuse aux multiples styles, connue internationalement pour son travail avec le trompettiste de la Nouvelle-Orléans, Nicholas Payton. Son fils Martin Masakowski à la contrebasse, qui mène lui aussi une carrière internationale de haut niveau. Ainsi que son ami de longue date bien connu du Baiser Salé, le batteur Jeff Boudreaux, lui aussi originaire de la Nouvelle-Orléans et vivant actuellement à Paris. Artiste prestigieux, il rencontre son succès à travers une grande variété de styles et crée des liens communs entre le jazz, le ragtime, le hip-hop et le rap.
