Jimmy Felvia est un véritable amoureux de la musique et n’hésite pas à nous faire voyager à travers son travail de recherches rythmiques et harmoniques qu’il puise au plus profond de lui et de ses racines. Les chants traditionnels et les rythmes du tambour, notamment du Bèlè, constituent pour lui une base de travail qui peut aller dans n’importe quelle direction. Une sorte de quête intérieure perpétuelle qui passe par l’exploration modale, diverses expériences rythmiques et une écriture singulière où tous les instruments peuvent exposer les thèmes.
