The voice is the primary instrument and Didier Lockwood understood this well when he opened the doors of his school to Lucile Chriqui. For any musician, the great difficulty is to overcome the high level of technicality to reach, through breath and breathing, the evidence of a natural song with renewed inventions. Lucile is a passionate artist and this is the goal she succeeds in developing and achieving. Songs, colours, painting, percussion, have rocked her childhood. Her voice unfolds, coloured with love, depth and sensuality. She conceives singing as a flight that frees her from the heaviness of everyday life, as notes and their harmonies know no boundaries.Lucile Chriqui has multiplied her projects and crossed paths with renowned artists such as Mario Canonge and Munir Hossn. With the group Alba Neiva, she won the Jazz en Ville competition in 2019 in the "vocal jazz" category. On the Baiser Salé stage, she also sings alongside Cynthia Abraham, Ann-Shirley, Paloma Pradal and Kahina Ouali with the project Eleganza, a jewel of humanity and musicality.Created in 2012, the #JazzFromTomorrow slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to hone a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. #SoyezCurieux !
