Ludovic De Preissac propose un univers large nourri par diverses influences qui fait la part belle aux musiques latines (Bossa- nova, Latin jazz) mais qui prend toujours racine dans le jazz auquel il reste fidèle. Après avoir été un pianiste très " be bop", il s'est affirmé comme un compositeur original. En associant la chanteuse Maé Defays avec le saxophoniste Olivier Defays, c’est de nouvelles couleurs qui offrent un répertoire ancré dans la tradition avec des standards arrangés et des compositions originales. Un répertoire écrit sur-mesure et qui fait la part belle au jazz des années 50/60 ainsi qu’à la musique brésilienne.
