In his 30-year career, Marcus Miller has received numerous awards around the world, including 2 Grammy Awards (Best Contemporary Jazz Album and Best R&B Song) and the Edison Prize in Holland, honoring his ensemble artwork. In 2013, he was named Artist for Peace by UNESCO and he is the spokesperson for the Slave Route.
