For this new opus, I surrounded myself with musicians as eclectic as the influences present in New Orleans, with the heart of the rhythm section a drummer native of the "Big Easy", just to never lose sight of the essence of this music. I drew, this time, my inspiration from more current artists like Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint or The Meters and these are twelve original compositions that I propose, in a vein New Orleans Funk ". “Mon premier disque était un hommage à Fats Domino et mon amour inconditionnel pour les musiques de la Nouvelle Orléans ne m’a jamais lâché. Ce « melting pot » est à la fois fascinant et stimulant, tant d’influences réunies, africaines, caribéennes et européennes qui en font le berceau de la musique populaire américaine. Chacun peut s’y retrouver. J’ai même découvert pendant mes recherches sur cette ville qu’Etienne Boré, sans doute un lointain aïeul, a été le premier maire de la Nouvelle Orléans. Pour ce nouvel opus, je me suis entouré de musiciens aussi éclectiques que les influences présentes à la Nouvelle Orléans, avec au coeur de la section rythmique un batteur natif de la « Big Easy », histoire de ne jamais perdre de vue l’essence de cette musique. J’ai puisé, cette fois ci, mon inspiration chez des artistes plus actuels comme le Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint ou The Meters et ce sont douze compositions originales que je propose, dans une veine New Orleans Funk”.
