Originaire d’Allemagne et installée en France depuis 2011, la saxophoniste, chanteuse et compositrice est de retour avec « ONE », un premier album sous son nom après de nombreuses collaborations (Michel Benita, Andy Sheppard, Manu Dibango, Cheik Tidiane Seck, Paco Sery, Nguyên Lê…). Arrivée à Paris en 2018, Nora Kamm a rapidement été emportée par la légendaire scène musicale africaine de cette ville. « Pour moi rien n’est plus précieux que de se connecter au monde, de rencontrer des personnes d’univers différents. Ce nouvel album est une déclaration d’amour à l’Afrique. » Nora Kamm met sa virtuosité au service de l’émotion, jouant avec la plasticité du saxophone pour le sortir de ses pratiques habituelles, soucieuse de le faire chanter comme autant de voix humaines réunies.
