The Guyanese-Martinican saxophonist and composer Rodolphe Lauretta has materialized with his second album "Kreolia" (supported by Culture Box, France Musique, Fip, the BBC, cited by Gilles Peterson as one of the flagship albums of 2021) the interest aroused by his first opus "Raw" released in 2017 in trio with Arnaud Dolmen and Damien Varaillon. Pursuing his quest for a contemporary jazz, anchored in hip-hop, Caribbean influences and open to all possibilities, he invites three exceptional musicians among the most promising of the current scene, for a high-flying meeting!Named by TSF Jazz as the "new star of Caribbean jazz", Xavier Belin is a very promising young pianist from Martinique. In double residency at the Baiser Salé, he multiplies projects (Pléonasme, Crossing) and his first album "Pitakpi" was highly acclaimed by the critics, named "Revelation" by Jazz Magazine!Cuban bassist, composer and actor, Damian Nueva draws his inspiration and influences from Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz, funk and soul music. Le saxophoniste et compositeur guyano-martiniquais Rodolphe Lauretta a concrétisé avec son deuxième album « Kreolia » (soutenu par Culture Box, France Musique, Fip, la BBC, cité par Gilles Peterson comme un des albums phares de 2021) l'intérêt suscité par son premier opus « Raw » sorti en 2017 en trio avec Arnaud Dolmen et Damien Varaillon. Poursuivant sa quête d'un jazz contemporain, ancré dans des influences hip-hop, caribéennes et ouvert à tous les possibles, il convie trois musiciens d'exception parmi les plus prometteurs de la scène actuelle, pour une rencontre de haut vol !Nommé par TSF Jazz comme la « nouvelle étoile du jazz caribéen », Xavier Belin est un jeune pianiste martiniquais très prometteur.
