A repertoire around their love for Zouk music and improvised music . Dans le cadre du festival Jazz-Sur-Seine 2020  et du Festival Les Caribéennes De Mai #15Entre tradition et modernité, racines créoles et aspirations universelles, écriture et improvisation, le batteur et jeune maître du tambour gwo-ka, Sonny Troupé a joué avec les plus grands : Kenny Garrett, Reggie Washington, David Murray, Dédé Saint Prix, Lisa Simone… et a enregistré des projets personnels remarqués et salués par la critique, notamment avec le pianiste Grégory Privat.  Le collectif ZJL : "Zouké Jazz La !", association de musiciens créée par Sonny regroupant entre autres Alex Deaz, Yann Négrit, Fabrice Fanfan, Patrice Coyo etc....Un répertoire autour de leur amour pour la musique Zouk et la musique improvisée. Le collectif a pour vocation la revisite de morceaux de zouk connus et moins connus, en version instrumentale, originale, et jazzifiée!  À cela s'ajoutent en mode "ZJL", des compos de chacun des membres présents.  Un projet chaud et dansant en plein cœur des Caribéennes !
