Tara Mehrad est une chanteuse, auteure et compositrice iranienne. Son alchimie avec son groupe de musiciens exceptionnels, crée un voyage inoubliable à travers son monde musical unique et sans frontière. Ses compositions aux couleurs d'orient sont modernes, rebelles et poétiques. Elle interprète son album en cours Bidari (éveil), avec sa voix puissante, généreuse et authentique, racontant l’histoire de sa métamorphose ; un voyage vers la rencontre de la magie à travers les chansons en persan et en français. La chanteuse s’intéresse à la musique toute petite en grandissant avec le jazz, la soul et le blues. En Iran, la musique et le chant sont interdits pour les femmes, elle quitte donc son pays pour venir en France. Son monde musical est né grâce à ses recherches de liberté d’expression. Sa musique est poétique, simple, romantique parfois révolutionnaire et mystique mais toujours très intime.
