Primarily a double bass player, he stands out as a composer and arranger. It practices an open and differentiated transmission of pedagogy. After studying classical double bass at the Bordeaux CRR and Jazz at the Agen conservatory, he obtained a DNSPM at the higher pole of Paris in 2014 and the diploma from the CMDL Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood) in 2015. He was trained retrospectively by Jean-Paul Macé, Kent Carter, Gilles Naturel, Marc-Michel Lebevillon, Cristian Diaz, Jean Michel Charbonel, Chris Jennings (for double bass) Cristophe Dal-Sasso, and Carine Bonnefoy (for writing) . While developing his career as a Jazzman on the Parisian scene, he reflected on the question of transmission. As a musical composer, Thomas Julienne combines his talents as a multi-instrumentalist (Double bass - Guitar - Oud - Sitar), the multiplicity of his experiences and his skills in computer-assisted music. His creations illustrate his vocabulary; his palette allows him to use the richness of the "jazz language", the experimentation of timbres and the heritage of classical and symphonic music....

Il pratique une transmission ouverte et différenciée de la pédagogie.  Après des études de contrebasse classique au CRR de Bordeaux et Jazz au conservatoire d’Agen, Il obtient un DNSPM au pôle supérieur de Paris en 2014 et le diplôme du CMDL Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood) en 2015.  Il a été formé rétrospectivement par Jean-Paul Macé, Kent Carter, Gilles Naturel, Marc- Michel Lebevillon, Cristian Diaz, Jean Michel Charbonel, Chris Jennings (pour la contrebasse) Cristophe Dal-Sasso, et Carine Bonnefoy (pour l'écriture).  Tout en développant sa carrière de Jazzman sur la scène parisienne, il réfléchit à la question de la transmission.  En tant que musical compositeur, Thomas Julienne combine ses talents de multi-instrumentiste (Contrebasse - Guitare - Oud – Sitar), la multiplicité́ de ses expériences et ses compétences en musique assistée par ordinateur. Ses créations illustrent son vocabulaire ; sa palette lui permet d‘utiliser la richesse du « langage jazz », l’expérimentation des timbres et l’héritage de la musique classique et symphonique.
