Kahn has been a performer and entertainment industry professional since childhood, having led and fronted everything from society orchestras to The All-Star Jazz Trio, currently in the midst of touring with the legendary songstress, Peggy King. As a composer, producer and recording artist, his 1978 recording of “Hot Shot,” sung by Karen Young, was the number one dance hit of that year. Others followed. But Andy Kahn will be happy to tell you that singing and playing the music of the great American composers of popular song is his first love.

Through instrumental music and song, and rarely heard anecdotes about the greats, “Music by Intention” enlightens, touches and above all, entertains.
