Way back when on December 13th, 2012, the entity known as "The JHP" was born at Chris' Jazz Cafe...

Six years later to the (almost) day..with an album out, gigs a'plenty, line-up changes and a growing body of original repertoire in between...The Julian Hartwell Project is back to celebrate "six years strong" on the stage where it all began.

This time around pianist/composer Julian Hartwell presents the classic quintet lineup with a whole batch of fresh tunes and arrangements at that. Hear some of the band's latest material live as they workshop tunes that might just find their way on the next album......
