This is a new concert series happening every third Thursday. The venue is VERY INTIMATE with beautiful acoustics. We can only fit about 15 people, so make sure you get there early (by 8pm!) to get a seat and drink your tea! BYOB alcohol :)

With this series, I hope to bring all people and genres together, and to soften the divide between the avant-garde and other types of music.


Nick Millevoi and Dan Blacksberg will be performing a set of music from Nick's Streets of Philadelphia songbook, an open-instrumentation series of 25 compositions named after streets in our city. Millevoi and Blacksberg have been collaborating for the past 20 years, as a duo in Archer Spade, in Blacksberg's bands Electric Simcha and Deveykus, on Millevoi's 2016 Desertion album, and most recently on Blackberg's Radiant Others CD, released in late 2017.

Kyle Press performs improvised, amplified, and effected soundscapes of multiphonics and overtones on vocals and saxophones. As a member of bands such as Impressionist, Space Whale Orchestra, The Love Club, and OhBree he has released more than a dozen albums of original material, shared the stage with big names from the Sun Ra Arkestra to Akron/Family, and toured up and down the East Coast.
All the while, something quieter and more mysterious had been gestating in his brain. That something is finally ready to emerge, in the form of an eponymous solo project. Funneling his vocals and saxophones (and plenty of extended techniques) through effects pedals and an amplifier, the emergent music is a cross between the serenity of ambient / noise / drone and and the barely controlled chaos of way out free-jazz and improvisation.
