Ben Hedquist Returns to The Nash with his new quintet comprised of some of the most sought-after musician’s in the Valley’s creative music scene. This quintet performance will feature mostly new original compositions written by Ben Hedquist as well as compositions from his 2019 release “The Mists of Uncertainty.” Since moving to Phoenix in 2012, Hedquist has become one of the Valley’s most in-demand bassists. He performs frequently with Phoenix-based musicians such as Michael Kocour, Jeff Libman, Eric Rasmussen, Keith Kelly, Adam Roberts, and Dom Moio. He has also performed with a growing number of jazz notables, including Joe Locke, Peter Bernstein, George Garzone, Miguel Zenon, Glenn Zaleski, John Hollenbeck, Chris Cheek, George Colligan, Ben Wendel, and Lewis Nash.
