A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Ross Lewicki received his Bachelors degree in jazz piano performance at Arizona State University, where he studied with Michael Kocour. Ross's work both as a pianist and composer has attracted significant attention- pianist and composer Adam Benjamin chose Ross's composition "Forty-Two" as the External Judge's Choice at the 2013 Arizona State University Student Jazz Composition Competition. Ross was nominated for the American Pianists Association 2014 Cole Porter Fellowship. In addition to regular performances in the Phoenix metro area, Ross teaches jazz piano and music theory, and directs ensembles at Phoenix Conservatory of Music
