George Winston is an American solo pianist hailing from Montana. He began playing acoustic piano in the early 1970s and has been growing as a musician ever since. With over ten solo piano albums, Winston draws on the inspiration from many difference genres of music to create his own unique sound. His three styles of playing are melodic folk, New Orleans R&B, and stride piano. In recent years, he has been focusing on touring and playing live concerts. Along with playing solo piano concerts, he has also been known for solo guitar, harmonica, and solo piano dances.
