John Michael Sherman is proud to present his junior-year spring recital at The Nash! Originally hailing from Chicago and a product of Hamilton High School in Chandler, John Michael is a jazz trumpet performance major at Arizona State University. He is also a pre-medical student working at Chandler Regional Medical Center in the emergency department. He has performed with Lee Konitz, Lewis Nash, Byron Stripling, Ingrid Jensen, Conrad Herwig, Rufus Reid, Bad Cactus Brass Band, and many others. This recital will feature original compositions and arrangements along with pieces by Clare Fischer and Bert Joris, and will feature several of ASU’s finest musicians...
