Asu Student Recital of Evan Rees at The Nash

Admission: Free. Currently in his third year of study at Arizona State University, pianist Evan Rees will be performing a selection of original jazz compositions and standard jazz repertoire with his trio and quintet.

He would like to thank the jazz faculty at ASU, his studio instructor Michael Kocour, and the musicians performing tonight for their work and guidance in preparing for this recital. The music tonight is a small representation of the various artists and styles that have played a major role in Evan’s growth as a pianist and musician while at ASU.
