3:00 PM - 5:00 PM; Cleo Corcoran-vocals/percussion, Frank Smith -flute/sax/piano, Eric Bart-acoustic guitar/cavaquinho, Glenn Stern-bass/7-string guitar, Joel Oroz-drums Singer Cleo Corcoran, originally from Rio de Janeiro, has a great love of Bossa Nova and the music of Carlos Antonio Jobim. Her influences include Astrud Gilberto, Elis Regina and Gal Costa. Cleo is backed by some of Phoenix’s finest veteran musicians with a repertoire consisting of Brazilian Bossa Nova classics as well as some obscure musical gems in the Brazilian styles of Choro and Samba.
