7:30pm – 10:30pm; Admission: $15, $8 Students w/ ID; thenash.org; Brett Reed-vibes, Bailey Zick-bass, Ryan Bell-drums, w/special guests Anita Crider-oboe and vocals, Mike Shellans-piano. Vibist Brett Reed fronts a dynamic new trio with bassist Bailey Zick and drummer Ryan Bell exploring the traditional trio setting but with vibes instead of the more common piano. Reed will also showcase his 4-mallet approach to the vibes playing unaccompanied solos and will be joined by his special guests for spirited duets. Anita Crider and Mike Shellans will also be featured with the band, expanding the available color palette for excursions on some classic tunes.
