Bryon Ruth holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa and Master's degree in Saxophone Performance/Pedagogy from Arizona State University. He has been an active member of the Phoenix jazz scene for over twenty years.

Mr. Ruth has been a member of three locally awards winning jazz ensembles "Lookout for Hope," "Odd Man Out," and the "Phoenix Jazz Workshop." He has also performed with the Phoenix Symphony, Bobby Caldwell, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Rita Moreno, Rufus Reid, Tim Hagans, Wayne Newton, and others....

In addition, Bryon is a faculty member at Phoenix College and Arizona State University Music department. Currently Mr. Ruth is a member of Grammy award winner Bob Freedman's jazz orchestra, and was a recipient of an Artist Project Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Mr. Ruth has recorded as a sideman on the Summit record label.

As a saxophonist Mary Petrich has been performing professionally and teaching since the age of 18. She holds a Master’s degree in saxophone performance from ASU and a Bachelor’s degree in saxophone performance from Indiana University. Although classically trained, the spontaneity and freedom of jazz has emerged as the driving force in her musical career.
