Ryan Stigmon, sax player, is the co-founder of jazz/funk project Short Fuze and is an active musician around AZ in many genres including jazz, funk, blues and rock and roll. He started performing at the age of 9. In 5th grade, Ryan was introduced to the sax and developed a strong interest in jazz in high school. He was selected twice for the Arizona All-State Jazz Ensembles. At NAU, Ryan has been studying jazz under Chris Finet. Ryan recently returned from a four city tour of China with the NAU Jazz Septet.
