7:30pm – 10:00pm. Eric Person-saxophones, Russ Schmidt-piano, Ben Hedquist-bass, Don Moio-drums. Saxophonist Eric Person's body of work through performance and recordings encompasses acoustic and electric music genres. He's led duo, trio, quartet and big band projects. And was recently selected to study orchestration with the Jazz Composers Orchestra Institute. Person has performed alongside a diverse array of jazz artists such as Dave Holland, McCoy Tyner, John Hicks, Chico Hamilton, Wallace Roney, Donald Byrd and many others. He's also been featured with rock and funk icons Vernon Reid, Ben Harper, and Bootsy Collins.
